Leading motorsport preparation and hire firm EDSL Sport have today [11 May] announced a collaboration with off-road manufacturer LifeLive, to become the exclusive distributor for the TN5 and TN11 Cross Cars in the United Kingdom.
The internationally renowned and FIA Approved LifeLive TN5 Cross Car is a new breed of racing machine that offers an affordable and exciting way to experience the thrill of motorsport. Designed to be lightweight, nimble and robust, it is a perfect entry-level car for anyone looking to experience the exciting world of rallycross, sprinting and hill climbs.
EDSL Sport will also be responsible for introducing the exciting and newly announced TN11 model to the UK when it is released in 2024.
Created by the Belgian-based LifeLive operation, the firm is headed by Yannick Neuville, with support from Hyundai Motorsport WRC driver and brother, Thierry. The car is perfect for experienced racers and professional drivers who are looking for a new kind of challenge and has already been used across the globe in various formulas and championships.
Most recently, the TN5 Cross Car has been utilised by the FIA Rally Star competition which was created to find the next emerging rally talent, drawing young drivers from 146 national sporting authorities across the globe to embark on a four-year programme to turn online sim racers into fully fledged international rally drivers.
The impressive machine has also been used by the Belgian automobile federation to hone the skills of young drivers who wish to start their journey towards the FIA World Rally Championship or FIA World Rallycross Championship.
With a tubular steel frame and equipped with either a 650cc or 850cc motorcycle engine, the “buggy” style of car has been designed to be fun, energetic and low cost, perfect for amateurs, professionals and progressive talent. Adaptive to any surface, the TN5 is also well-placed for many racing series across the UK, including the BTRDA Cross Car Rallycross series.
Alex Waterman, MD of EDSL Sport, said “We are thrilled to be partnering with LifeLive to bring this amazing racing machine to the UK market.
